My husband and I live on the east side of town so we've been greatly effected by all the construction. No more easy access to Schnuck's, the businesses on that side or even Moser's down the service road.

But tonight, we had a hankering, so my husband took the long way to get to one of the businesses that used to only be a mile from us. While he was waiting on the food, the owner was complaining that all the roadwork has really driven down his business.

It made me realize there are a few small businesses that might be effected by all this. We'll continue to support them when and where we can, but it's not always feasible. I was just curious.
