Got this one for "free" since it came with my winter beater when I traded a running 05 Accord I crashed in the front end for two not running 02 Jetta TDIs. Still barely spitting any fuel at the injectors even with the pump primed off an IV bottle. So based on the rounded specialty bolt and the broken off one in the quantity adjustment top half I figured time for a used pump. So i grabbed a 10mm off my shelf and started swapping it. Ran out of time before mothers day activities so I'll finish the timing and tension on the belt and see if it want to lice later this week, so wrapped everything up for now and placed the valve cover back on.

Went to a birthday party over the weekend and noticed it looked like a mini VW car meet with my moms new 26 Taos, my sister's 19 GSW 6 speed alltrack and my 02 Jetta 1.9 ALH TDI 5 speed. Bonus dads Kei truck in the background.

Got the "barn find" running today with new fluids and filters. Didn't take much after I prefilled the new fuel filter and bled the injectors after hooking it up to and IV bottle.

Just rolled the old ALH over to 200k, now for bigger injectors, an 11mm pump, bigger exhaust and intake piping then finish the full euro spec swap once I source a few more parts.
