1.5 years in what made it worse, what helped, still not fully cleared

First breakout hit me in 2024. Didn’t really know much back then - tried different products, made it worse. Got prescribed doxycycline, didn’t work for me. After that I was hesitant about more antibiotics, so I went round to several dermatologists. Each one pointed to a different root cause. Ended up trying skin laser, which turned out to be the worst thing I did.

Overwhelmed, stressed, lost confidence to even meet people.

What’s helped me since:

Less is better. Stripped down to almost nothing.

SLS-free has been a big win - switched out toothpaste, everything.

Less dairy. Took weeks to notice flare.

Not fully recovered. Still get flares around out of nowhere sometimes. But it’s nowhere near where it was.

Will test and share overtime.

Anyone having same case ?
