Don't judge me, but imagine this

Lawn Tractor to buggy conversion.

I got a 22hp craftmans manual 6speed and reverse lawn tractor. It does 8mph stock and 50mph with a pulley swap got it for 50$ and replaced the shifting fork in the transmission for 5$

I want to build a custom frame and widen the axle on the lawn tractor and put it on the custom frame and put a three cylinder diesel 60hp or 40hp* motor with a turbo in it off a generator, even find a dirt cheap little power steering pump from a junkyard. Have massive shocktowers and tires.

I want to mount a petite 1926 ford pickup cab with a rollcage that is being used as yard art as the cab. I tore apart a old projector TV and have a massive sheet of plexiglass for the windows, which rocks can bounce off with no cracks.

I see 300$ worth of stuff I have to do, but should I?, everyone is giving me shit but I see a 60 to 80 mph enclosed cab two seater off-road go kart that I'm probably gonna hook up a snow plow and ac, and heating, and a alternator for a radio or phone charger, and of course tail lights and headlights and turn signals for shits. Might even keep the mow deck for jokes.

Might even tow cars and trailers around the yard, and act as one of those 8000$ side by sides or as a little yard tug rig.

Probably contend with the stock running gear of the ford.

It all would run off belts and pulleys so it'd be safer than climbing in a hens nest.

It's actually pissed some people off; bringing this up before. I just want to build this with junk and scrap, and with no money at all really, as a fun little side project.

Old gaming laptop to desktop conversion

My old Acer aspire e5 573g 52g3(late 2015) gaming laptop in a 2003 compaq presario s3100nx case with matching mint condition compaq 7500 crt monitor

Specs

Intel i5 5200u 2.2ghz to 2.7ghz, dual core, four threads.

Nividia GeForce 940m 2gb vram

2x8gb 1600mhz 16gb 3200mhz ddr3 ram

1tb sata 3 2.5" ssd 500mb/s

Windows 10

Need to do's: Needs original case power button soldered to keyboard pos and neg, since I just jump it with a screw driver to turn it on, and wire up the case lights to the spare USB, and add external powered fans to keep it cool during long gaming sessions. I also need to get a sata 2 cable to put the cd rom drive where it originally sat in the case, and glue the original faceplate to the cd rom drive, and no one will know what I did.

Lmao I was getting high and thought of this; What do y'all think? I wanted to feel like a kid again but with faster performance.

Found a ddr4 server for 200$

Dell PowerEdge r430

x1 Intel Xeon E5-2650 v4

16GB DDR4 2133MHz

Intel X520

PERC h730

ATI Radeon RX 550

rails included, have some daughter NICs, Caddies and Raid controllers if needed

Should I go pick it up? I want to run a 100 person create/clockwork Minecraft server for adults.

I never purchased an actual server. Only built pretend desktop servers

Picked up a dell optiplex 7080 for 60$

dell optiplex 7080 Intel Core i5-10500 (6-Core, 3.1 GHz base, up to 4.5 GHz Turbo) 16gb ddr4 ram. 256gb ssd Windows 11 Got for 60$ and traded four ddr3 2010 to 2013 Toshiba laptops with 4gb ram that I got for free for it also

I have a 1tb ssd to go in it, and what GPU should I put in it, and is the CPU theoretically going to bottleneck in gta6, should I upgrade it also?, and is the psu going to need to be upgraded also for the GPU, or is this even going to play gta6 with upgrades?

I have a 16gb ddr5 i5 14400f 4060rtx PC that will play gta6, but I'm looking at this for a spare lan PC/server for the homies that come over

Whats this, a wifi card?

It has what looks to be a wifi port. Pulled out of a 2003 compaq presario being refitted for a sleeper build, figured this be the best place to post this

What dirt cheap ddr3 motherboard can I get that will hold the max amount of ddr3 ram, as I want to have a server to host for a online game whenever I want. Should I just invest in a old ddr4 or ddr3 desktop instead of going full blown server if I just want a system to run servers in Minecraft, arma 3 and DayZ, or larger intensive games. I know I should be looking at 4ghz+ 4 or more core cpu's and ass loads of ram and a ssd(only got a 1tb sata 3 2.5" and a 128gb nvme.2 for parts.) I got LOADS of ddr3 laptop ram, so I was thinking of getting those laptop to desktop ram converters in a bundle on temu for 10 bucks but I think that'll be too "Jethro"

I have 5 working 2010 to 2014 Toshiba laptops. Two with USB 3, and all have upgradable cpu sockets, no GPUs, 8gb ram and 1tb hdds. And a few extra parts laptops that make it a total of 8 Toshiba laptops. What on earth do I do with these?

I was thinking refurbishing them and selling them but what should I price them out at.

Might keep one of the USB 3 ones and upgrade it to a 3.8ghz CPU 4 core, and 16gb ram and ssd as a spare portable office

I5 5200u, tinkered with to have a dual core base clock speed of 2.67 and max single core speed of 2.7ghz

16gb ddr3 1600mhz ram(though about upgrading to 1866mhz

1tb 2.5 sata 3 ssd 500mb/s

I'd like to know the max possible player count on a pre-gen world of 864x864(tu11 world) on 12.2 Minecraft running papermc with all performance plugins, and running on java 21 instead of java 8 using the clean room plugin for efficient ram cleanup, and if there is any room for mods. As I am looking for a lot of player room for a anarchy server

I've recently picked up a compaq crt 7500 and matching desktop for free that was made in February of 2003 with over 15 hours of use(the desktop motherboard was dead due to an accident so I replaced it with my old 2015 gaming laptop motherboard with VGA that has 940m 2gb vram, and 16gbddr3ram, and 1tb ssd and a i5 5200u) and use my Bluetooth headphones with my Xbox controller, also got some retro PC speakers to go with it. Still trying to wire the lights and power button of the original case into the board, and change the splash logo from Acer to compaq so no one will know of my debauchery.

The monitor was only used for playing solitaire and rarely ever got used, and it is mint with no cracks in the case or glass screen, or stains. It is virtually brand new, and is waiting to be dedicated for a sleeper setup for Skyrim lan co op mod

I haven't took any pictures yet as I have the board out of the case and am currently doing a egpu setup for higher graphics on skyrim and upgrading the ram to tighter clocked dual channel sets, and looking into finding a ssd for a disc caddy adapter for more storage and getting a wifi USB dongle for the egpu setup and a single USB keyboard and mouse.
