TLDR: What you guys do you recommend after replacing the box due to mold, do you clean the components before putting them in the new box?

Ok so I finally got the Arcs campaign expansion (yay!) from a third party, however upon opening it I noticed that the base of the box have some mold stains. I so I contacted Buried Giant Studios for a box replacement and they are willing to send it at no extra cost, nice! I did some research and I’ve noticed that it was kind of a “common” issue with the first printing.

I know this case is somewhat niche but for the people that have replaced the box or had similar issues with other games or whatnot, did you clean your components (cardboard, inserts, cards, wooden pieces) before placing them on the new box? I haven’t opened the cards and punch the cardboard yet. What do you recommend to clean them if so?

Haven’t played a Zombicide game yet but the pirates theme is so appealing to pass this up. However I’m still figuring out what to get from the Gamefound campaign.

What should be the items in this campaign that are a “must” exclusively for DMT? I figure the core box (Davy Jones’ Plunder) + Shipwreck Bay expansion. Also which items are nice to have. Thanks in advance!
