Different mop pads on Roborock Saros 20 & Saros 20 Sonic
Just noticed something while comparing replacement parts for these two: most accessories (roller brush, side brush, filter, dust bag) are interchangeable, but the mop pads definitely aren’t. The regular Saros 20 uses longer-fiber round pads that seem better for water absorption and general mopping, while the Sonic version has a denser D-shaped pad designed more for high-frequency scrubbing and pressure transfer, so probably better for tougher dried stains. Which one do you prefer?

I know everyone talks about changing the main filter and brushes, but I don’t really remember seeing much about this one.
I randomly came across a post about the water tank filter and tried replacing it… and yeah, the mopping actually got noticeably cleaner.
Kinda surprised tbh. Feels like an easy thing to miss.
Do you guys ever change this, or just leave it?
