I’m thinking about adding the Osprey Exos 48 to my hiking/trekking setup for the Peaks of the Balkans trek I’ll be doing this June. Since it’s a much lighter pack compared to the ones I already own, I’m also considering investing in lightweight gear overall for hikes where keeping weight low is a priority.

Without making this too long, what would you recommend in terms of best value-for-money gear to build an ideal multi-day trekking setup?

I mean everything really — ultralight tent, sleeping pad, cookware, accessories, etc.

Also, any gear or small accessories that you didn’t expect to be essential but ended up making a huge difference?

Thanks and happy adventures everyone 🤙🏽
