My switch is having trouble reading my joycon as connected to the console when I attach them, they still function normally but they're really finicky to charge.

I know I can mail joycons in for repair, would this be something that can be fixed or am I cooked?

For context: I did some research on Hartz flea and tick medication because mom bought it for our cats and I had a gut feeling something was off about it, after seeing multiple pet parents and vets say not to use it because it was dangerous I quickly removed the collar from Kaya (my cat), and thankfully it was only on for a few minutes.

Mom thinks I'm overreacting because it's something that *could* happen (despite the fact Hartz has been sued for this) and that she's used it growing up in the 70s and was fine

I think i got a bit of TCVP poisoning from absorbing it through the skin on my hands and I started hallucinating + had a sore throat & nausea + bad taste in back of mouth.

I told her that I think the collar cause me to hallucinate and she got upset at me again

Next time I just won't tell her when I think something is poisoning me I guess.
