I’ve worked out on and off for a while, but I’ve never really been consistent enough to see solid progress.
My main goals are to build endurance, get back in shape, have more energy, and build a more feminine figure (leaner upper body with more lower-body/glute development). I’m not very overweight, just feeling out of shape and wanting to feel stronger and more athletic again.
I’m really interested in compound exercises because they seem more fun and efficient than isolated movements, and I’d like workouts that feel engaging enough to stick to long term.
I’m planning to train 4 times a week, with each session lasting no more than 1h–1h15.
If you were starting over with these goals, what kind of training split or routine would you recommend?
