Any Advice Please 🙏

So Im attending the gym to first loose weight then start to build muscle after, but i have a lot of muscle on my legs and shoulders that I want to loose too, and im worried ill start working out just to further build the muscle and just completely derail the intention of going? If anyone has any advice for any good habits or things to avoid or do I would really appreciate it :)

Toungue Piercing

my normal bar for my toungue piercing fell out, and all I had was a flat back that was slightly too short to put it, but it would do, but overnight my toungue swelled up and the disk on the bottom was swollen into my toungue and I cant get it out, and the upside is very close to doing the same thing, i woke up feeling very sick too and idk what to do :/
