30f. I've been putting off getting my wisdom teeth removed for years because a) I didn't have health insurance b) I didn't have enough money with health insurance or c) scared. I know they need to come out. A month ago, my top right wisdom tooth broke in half. I suffer from pericoronitis on my left side monthly at this point and I cannot eat anything sweet without it turning into sharp shopting pains that leaves me drooling and unable to move. (Gross I know)
My wisdom tooth removal surgery is scheduled for Tuesday under IV sedation. Obviously I'm scared for a litany of reasons, but right now, I'm nervous about the positioning of the tooth roots to the nerve. Thoughts? They did a CBCT and said the nerves COULD be pretty close, but isn't super worried about it.
