My son is almost 12 weeks old. I am struggling, because almost daily his crying will go from 0-100, and he will just let out this blood curdling scream. Its given me so much anxiety about going out in public because I could wrap my head around my baby crying, but when I’m at the doctors or a restaurant and he just lets one of those screams rip, I just feel embarrassed and overwhelmed.

Im pretty confident it’s not reflux, and this is definitely not the “pterodactyl” phase. But whatever this is….does it ever go away?

People keep telling me its a sign of intelliegnce, or its because he’s a boy, but I don’t know that that’s correct, and it’s certainly doesn’t make anything easier.
