It just arrived and I turned it on right away, and it’s broken… I didn’t charge it beforehand, I just unpacked it and powered it on while recording a video so I’d have proof. I’ve now plugged it in. Do I maybe need to reset it or something? Does anyone have tips? I waited 14 days for this just to be disappointed… (from aliexpress)
How do you prepare your EPUBs? My X4 is arriving tomorrow, and I’ve already come across a few different methods. One is using the web converter (https://xteink.lakafior.com/), and the other is via the EPUB plugin in a Calibre workflow (https://github.com/kxrz/calibre_workflow).
What are your experiences with these, and what would you recommend? Or do some of you not use either of these methods at all?
I’m also planning to use the stock firmware for a few days first, and then switch to Crosspoint to hopefully get that “wow effect” all over again. What do you think about that idea?
