Recently I purchased an X3.
I've been using it ever since I've received it but still I'm unimpressed.
Actually, I regret the purchase.
It's cute, sure, and being so small it's quite versatile as I can take it with myself wherever I go. Which is exactly what I purchased this gizmo for.
But, boy, it feels cheap!
As for a start, I had no intention to flash its firmware but was forced to do it at once, as the default operating system only comes with two horrible fonts: a smallish Times New Roman lookalike and a somewhat bigger Century Gothic ripoff, a lookalike Sans font which makes reading so much more tiring.
Had this been the only issue with the thing, I would still have been satisfied with it: it's a nuisance, nothing more.
But sadly, there is more.
At the same time indeed I noticed how wobbly, that is loose, the buttons are, just as you would expect of any "tech" gadget that comes free with the purchase of just two dishwasher soap bins at the supermarket. Same quality, same feeling when you hold the X3 in your hand.
And the side buttons are pretty fickle as well, as half the times they don't even react to pressing them, so you have to press them twice or even thrice just to jump to the next page.
Hence, I'm unimpressed and unsatisfied with this product, which isn't cheap at all for the price ($79 are overpriced) but is cheap for the overall quality.
I expected a better product.
Actually, we all deserve a better product.
