The advice on this forum has helped me finally take the plunge into the world of EV. I have been a Land Rover owner for 15 years. I have been lucky and had no issues, but long term ownership cost of the current range is too risky for me.
I have had a good look at many of the recommendations on here, and a few that aren’t. I would probably buy an iPace if the depreciation and quality control wasn’t such an issue. So, by default, the Mercedes EQC has ended up at the top of my list. Are there any owners on here? Depreciation has been brutal, so I am looking at 73 plates with 30000 miles for around £25k. Range isn’t great, but that isn’t a problem for me as my daily commute is only 25 miles round trip. Ride is comfortable and the performance punchy. Overall build quality looks good and reviews positive. Am I missing something that explains the low purchase price?
