A trio of Finnish developers - Pertti, Jyri, and Joonas - has created Versebound, a game narratively set in the world of the Kalevala, pre-Christian Finland. It is a raw world of iron, snow, and "rune-singing" magic.

Players can take on the roles of three legendary heroes - Aino, Kullervo, or Joukahainen - each with unique abilities and their own story.

Versebound is a roguelike bullet hell where the goal is to survive for 12 minutes against relentless hordes of enemies. By defeating monsters, players level up and choose from three randomized skills, allowing them to fully customize their playstyle.

The game is available now on Steam (PC), Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
