My dad was arrested last year for murdering a woman in his town, I won’t give specifics as I quite literally know nothing, just his court dates.

Trail isn’t set until the end of this year, he hasn’t been found guilty, but I believe he is. He already had a previous manslaughter conviction that he just ended his parole on.

Now here is where I need advice, i would love to hear the “well if my family member was murdered” but am really wanting to hear from someone who has personally experienced this form of loss.

Would I be wrong to message the family?

Every day since it has happened all I can think about is the victims family, I stalk her daughters on Facebook and cry at everything they post about their mother, I am devastated for that family. I want nothing more than justice at the fullest extent for them, even if that means loosing my father and the relationship we’ve built over the last few years.

I want them to know I’m on their side, that I am so sorry for what he did, but selfishly I also need answers to begin processing this and understanding what he did before I am slapped with the information through the court proceedings.

I don’t know if any of this comes off the way I am hoping it will, but thank you for taking the time to read this
