i have 2 male guinea pigs, i love them dearly. i’ve had one for 3 years and the other for 1, after my previous pig oreo passed, i got another friend for ginger. however the bond between ginger and cookie broke. they’re very territorial and the hierarchy dominance turned into fighting- hence their broken bond. is there any way to fix a broken bond or is that the end? if there is, could anyone offer tips on how to correctly bond guinea pigs as i may not have had the best technique. i’ve always owned boys and have never had this happen before, however i adopt them and they usually are already bonded. any advice would be great since they currently live separately and it’s a lot harder like this. thank you!!
