long time lurker, but after countless interviews, I finally landed a job! it’s a 45 minute commute, but it’s $1300+ a month from what I was making, and 100% paid full benefits. funny enough, I got this job by reaching out via email to see if they had an openings because I heard such good things about the company - this was the one I really wanted, but put it on the back burner since they weren’t even advertising an open position. reach out to companies directly is the lesson here! the worst they can say is no, and it’s not like we haven’t gotten a million of those already.
