Hello, there I haven't played magic since pretty much 2017-18 when I was in high school during Aether Revolt. Me and my buddies have been playing commander, and I have 3 different pre-cons (First Flight (waiting for delivery), FF Revival Trance (waiting for delivery), and Chaos Incarnate). I have been playing this Chaos Incarnate deck and I am liking it, but it's just not scratching the itch for me, so I bought the other 2 to try something new. However, I miss building decks and as I have been playing these I realized how much I miss Red/Blue. I almost bought the Prismari Artistry but decided against it as I was looking while playing commander and the amazon post didn't have a description of the commander.
Well, I want to build a pretty solid Red/Blue deck that won't entirely break the bank. I think my Chaos deck falls into a T2, but I am not too savvy with current comps and what is good or bad anymore.
The game as changed so much since I left and feel like I am learning a new language again lol.
For blue what I like is low-cost blue cards that do draw effects, bounce (like aetherize), counter and I think "Nexus of Fate" is pretty cool card
For red what I like is do x damage to this, shoot this for 2, destroy target creature. So, that's pretty simple.
Other than that, I have no good direction maybe Niv-Mizzet, Visionary as commander?
I also, have interest in building a deck that uses cards like trepanation blade and invisible stalker to do mill w/ maybe Jace, The Perfected Mind?
