Hello, just looking for some advice.
I am currently a student and have just bought a new car and I've had my driving licence for three years. I have been taking my car for a drive around just to get used to it. I was driving on a road I had never been down which was a 30mph limit. There was then a marking on the road that said 20mph but I did not notice this until I was just in front of it as there were a lot of cars in front of me obstructing that marking (I obviously then immediately slowed down). There were no signs next to the road and about 30 meters later there was a sign for 30mph again. I also noticed a speed camera there so I am worried that I was over the speed limit and will get a speeding ticket.
It only happened yesterday and I don't even know if I will get one but I am just a very anxious person. So I guess I'm just asking do you think I would get one and because it's not clear signage would that be grounds to dispute it? Any advice would be appreciated.
