I just want to share a thought, and this isn’t coming from a place of hate.

Nakakatuwa and nakaka-proud talaga na may mga Filipino artists like BINI na umaabot sa international stage like Coachella. That’s a big deal, and they deserve recognition for their hard work and talent.

Pero napaisip lang ako—kailangan ba talagang umabot sa ganung level ng formal recognition, like being invited to the Senate?

While we celebrate artists (which is great), I can’t help but think about other people who dedicate their lives to serving the country—like soldiers, frontliners, teachers—yung mga tahimik lang na nagbubuwis ng oras, pagod, at minsan pati buhay para sa bayan. Madalas, hindi sila nabibigyan ng ganung klaseng spotlight.

Again, this is not to discredit BINI or their achievements. They worked hard and deserve appreciation. Siguro napapatanong lang ako about balance—who we choose to highlight, and how we define “national recognition.”

Just sharing thoughts. Open to hearing other perspectives too.
