My PC setup is as follows: I switch between my PC, Nintendo, and PS3 via an HDMI switcher. I use Onkyo speakers with SPDIF input.
today I bought a Dell WQHD 144Hz monitor (SE2726D) as my new primary monitor. However, I've learned that HDMI has limitations and may not be able to connect high-resolution, high-refresh-rate monitors. My vga is an RTX 2080 Super. How can I connect my new monitor? Do I need DisplayPort? My current primary Asus monitor will become secondary, and I will remove my current secondary monitor.
