I (24F) live with my roommate (26F). We agreed on chores when we moved in 8 months ago. For the past 3 months she has been skipping her chores entirely. When I brought it up she said she's been struggling mentally and that I should "be more compassionate". I genuinely felt for her and gave her a month of grace. Last week I asked again. She said you clearly don't understand what anxiety feels like. I do I'm in therapy for it myself. I told her that mental health is real, but it can't be a permanent pass on basic responsibilities we both agreed to.

She hasn't spoken to me since and told our mutual friends I'm being cruel. AITAH?
