AITAH for having a friend over?
I live with a friend and the rule has always been no company unless she’s gone and that I know them and it’s not a first meeting. A friend I knew from college wanted to come see me since he was in the area and on his lunch break and I said okay. He came for like 30-40 mins and left. Now my roommate has cancelled our plans for tonight and I feel like she’s mad at me for not telling her first. I pay half the rent and have my own room and we didn’t even do anything. But I just feel like I am in trouble now for having a friend over while she is at work. I could be reading into it too much but idk if I am and just feel like a bitch for even letting him come over. It’s never been an issue before and maybe 50% of the time I’ve told her someone is coming over but it’s not every time that I say I’m having someone over.
