Covert nm
So my mom just pulled me into an “Emergency family meeting” while I was on FaceTime with my friend. She didn’t even let me finish talking to my friend. I was literally watching a show with her and we had 10 min left but no I needed to stop what I was doing and drop everything for her. She says that she’s called the family meeting bc my brother isn’t clear on her DNR status that she has repeatedly mention to anyone that will listen. I remember many times before exactly like this where she “just wants to make sure we are all on the same page”. They literally held me hostage and I couldn’t leave even though the only one that was confused about her status was my 15M little brother. She kept saying and repeating that we need to take advantage of the time we have with her now bc she doesn’t want to be resuscitated like she’s not giving us a second chance or smth. It’s so annoying and twisted. Then of course she segues the conversation to how I don’t interact with the family and I’m always in my room but can you guess why. I’m trying to protect myself. I just know once I move out I will not be speaking to her or the rest of my family. Also she hasn’t been talking to me past a purely information relay so I don’t know what she expects.
