Unfortunately I need help with exactly what the title states... Pulled a dumbass move after using this suppressor and sat it down in the back of a truck and burned the carpet/carpet dye onto it. It seems to want to peel off, but it feels like a glossy, hard layer and can't be taken off with anything I've tried so far.
Everything functions exactly how it's meant to, except when I chamber a round while in safe it occasionally moves the lever to semi on its own. It's hard to diagnose why because I don't understand the conditions that cause it to happen, it's not consistent and I can't always replicate it. I've decided to for now just train myself to switch to semi before charging to be safe, but it would be nice to be able to correct this.
Not sure if this matters but this is also an old photo. I am currently using the trigger that came with the V2 kit along with a milspec disconnector, spring, and hammer.
Hello, any help is greatly appreciated. I'm new to the AR platform and I have a Geissele SSP on the way to cut and install with the Arc Fire V2.
I am looking for advice from anyone who's cut a Geissele to work with the V2 because upon inspecting the pre cut that came with the V2, the cut is different than the trigger that came with V1. Not to mention it's just a little nerve racking to go into it without advice.
