Ok so I’ve never fit in, anywhere ever. Masking and mirroring has resulted in me developing and sculpting so many personas and personalities that I have completely lost myself, I don’t actually know who I am.
Since 2020 I’ve had a total of 4 full time PAYE jobs and a number of long and short time freelance gigs.
I force myself to adapt to a new workspace but I get burned out within 8 months and leave.
After I got sacked during promotion a few weeks ago for ‘not being the right fit’ I’ve looking into a different approach. I really want to work at home by myself, I just can’t face working in a team anymore
I’m currently studying and retraining and hopefully this will be a reality. The only issue is changing my career this late in life (I’m 37) is a bit alien as tho it’s not a massive jump, my cv just isn’t going to support my new aspirations…. And not to mention in my life time I’ve probaly had way over 30 jobs…. I’m always jealous of people that have 3 jobs on their cv.
