Hello all,
Ive been sketching for a few months now, but typically figures.
Today, I tried sketching a landscape for the first time. I live near a national park and would love to do some sketching whilst Im out on my walks. I used this photo I took as a reference. For a first attempt Im pretty happy, the perspective is off likely due to the different aspect ratio of the paper and photo throwing me off. I have a full time career and never drew as a child so Im not aiming for perfection but ill bear this in mind next time.
The bit I want help with is that there's a lot of heather and I struggled to get the right textures in the regions of foliage, or even varied textures. Does anyone have any tips?
