Suspect on the loose… By George guy?
UPDATED. PD have been notified of his presence on campus and as nothing has been done, it seems there is NO connection to 5/10 and suspect is still on the run. I apologize for any speculation that occurred. Please stay safe.
Hey all. I know this is a really terrifying event for everyone right now and I wish everyone safety, please stay safe and look after each other.
I don’t mean to overstep in speculation but I can’t get this off of my mind. Do we remember the guy (link to thread attached) that was harassing fem students in By George? He’s been around for weeks and my friends and I got approached just last week by him as well, he was asking strange questions. He was definitely off-putting but didn’t seem to mean any harm at the time, certainly in need of some help but not menacing.
What’s driving me nuts is that he matches the physical description in the police statement and in other threads I’ve seen. I’ve never seen him in a blue vest though and I am absolutely not pointing fingers - just a little scared and seeing similarities, which is scary considering he’s been on campus around tons of students for a WHILE. Did this come to anyone else‘s mind? And please let me know if this post doesn’t belong/does more harm than good, I’ll remove it.
Edit: update, it’s been half a day. It looks like he was near Suzz earlier today around 2pm “asking to be arrested,“ and the PD were notified of him by some students. Since it looks like he was hanging around By George in the afternoon, seems doubtful the PD sees him as a suspect. I apologize for any speculation that occurred. Please do be careful if you see him as he does approach students quickly, and it can alarming if you’re alone. Stay safe, all.
