Hi, I don’t post on Reddit, so please bear with me.
I’ve had these small pimple-like bumps around labia minora for as long as I can remember. And by that, I mean ever since I actually started looking at my downstairs, which would be like 5 years (I’m 18). I’ve never not had them. They’re not painful, itchy, or uncomfortable. They’re very small, about the size of like a large grain of sand. From what I’ve noticed, they have not changed size or number throughout all these years. I’ve looked up everything one possibly could, and nothing matches it. They are NOT Fordyce spots. I do have those, and these sort of resemble them, but these are raised and have pus in them.
Here are some factors worth considering:
- Never been sexually active
- Usually wear baggy (not tight) pants, although my underwear is sort of tight and not 100% cotton
- Use CeraVe face soap to clean (only the outside)
- I do tend to sweat a lot, but I feel like it’s not too bad down there
- I try to dry it as much as possible after showering
- Shaving and not shaving makes zero difference. They aren’t ingrown hairs and aren’t even in places where growing hair is possible.
I feel like I’m washing wrong. But it doesn’t explain why they’ve been here for forever. Has anyone else had this problem? And also, does 100% cotton underwear really make that big of a change? I don’t know if this is too detailed/TMI of a question to ask, but how do you guys wash down there? Like, what position am I even supposed to be in? I feel like my problem might be that I’m not getting everything I need to.
