Donate to Loveneet Kaur’s wedding, organized by Loveneet Kaur

Hi everyone,
I’m a 28-year-old Indian woman living in Australia, working full-time as a chef. On 04/11/2026, I’ll be marrying the love of my life (29M) after being together for the last 5.5 years.
Our journey hasn’t been easy. My dad passed away from cancer in 2008, and after that my mum worked incredibly hard to support me, my older sister, and my younger brother all on her own. She has always done everything she could for us, and I will forever be grateful for her strength and sacrifices.
Because of my strict upbringing and cultural expectations, it took us years to convince my side of the family to accept our relationship. Since ours is not an arranged marriage, which is still very common in Indian culture, we haven’t received much financial support for the wedding. After many difficult conversations, my family finally agreed to let us get married, and that alone means the world to us.
My partner and I are trying our absolute best to pay for our wedding ourselves while also managing rent, bills, and everyday expenses. My mum is helping where she can, but weddings are incredibly expensive, and we are struggling to create the special day we’ve always dreamed of.
I never imagined I would come online asking strangers for help, and honestly, I feel embarrassed because I know there are people facing much harder situations in life. But I’m trying to stay hopeful and ask for support with an open and honest heart. Even the smallest contribution would mean so much to us.
I also struggle with anxiety, depression, and overthinking, which has made this journey emotionally overwhelming at times. Still, I truly hope that one day I’ll be in a position to help others the same way I’m asking for help today.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. I sincerely appreciate any support, kindness, or even sharing this post. Wishing love, happiness, and blessings to everyone reading this. 🤍
