How well would the Timeless Child plotline be received if Chibnall made Omega the Timeless Child instead of the Doctor?

I never really hated the Timeless Child plotline until it retconned everything by making it the Doctor. But I personally think Omega should've been the Timeless Child. What are your opinions?
