On Friday morning I noticed I had a uti and took the first antibiotic that evening along w the pill that makes ur pee orange. Antibiotic is nitrofurantoin. Twice daily for 5 days. So im technically on day 3 and still feel the symptoms. Not as bad as when I took a uti at home test it wasnt as dark indicating a uti. But still indicates I have trace leukocytes. Nitrates present as well. The color wasnt dark.

Kn Friday I didnt see nitrates present just the other one and it was the darkest color. Should I be worried im still having symptoms? Has anyone had to take antibiotics twice before? I was also taking methanamine/sodium salicylate that came in a at home test and now im not taking it.its supposed to slow infection until I get antibiotics could that play into me still feeling bad? I started feeling a lot better on Saturday and then Sunday I could feel symptoms again as well as today i would say 4/10 in uncomfortable

Yesterday I realized I had a uti. I got some antibiotics called in ans have been on them for 24 hrs. They gave me 6 days of pills I believe as well as the pills that make your pee dark orange. I have gotten yeast infections from antibiotics before. I can't tell if I am overthinking it or its the uti or I feel a tinge of a ueast infection coming on. Not sure if it could start that early. I have taken boric acid before when I felt a yeast infection coming on and its helped 4/5 times. My question is, can I take boric acid while having a uti? It does create discharge, and I am worried about that being in my urethra area and making my uti worse. I am not going to take it tonight. I want to monitor how I feel since this literally just started an hour ago. Ughhhh i feel like I am so sensitive to things.It's really annoying. Like I said, it could just be in my head or even part of the uti. I am staying clean and dry and hydrated.
