Gym 7 of my Mono Bug Hardcore Sapphire Nuzlocke is now complete. One more gym to go and then the elite four.

Did anyone else know that Rock does not resist Bug? I always thought it did.

Gym 6 of my Hardcore Mono-Bug Sapphire Nuzlocke. I placed Anorith in front of Swellow and used Harden and Rest until both Aerial Ace and Quick attack were out of PP. Then I set up swords dance on Ninjask.

It took a few tries to hit through double team (so many that Swellow started to struggle) but once I did, Slash was strong enough to one shot the Swellow, Pelipper and Altaria.

I had to bring in Illumise to take out the Skarmory with Shock Wave. I used Shock Wave instead of Thunderbolt because Skarmory loves to spam sand-attack.

Still deathless at this point. You will never believe what I caught in the Safari Zone.

Gym Five of my Hardcore Mono-Bug Sapphire Nuzlocke. Dustox easily toxic stalled both Slakings. For the Vigoroth, I used Anorith to slow it down with rock tomb and Volbeat to take it out.

Still Deathless. Give me your suggestions for Winona. She leads with Swellow in this version instead of Swablu.
