Which car to buy?
Hello Everyone
I recently got the news of 2 under 2, and the first thing crossed my mind is the new car.
Current car - 2022 Subaru outback wilderness, monthly expense - CAD 1150 including car payment, insurance and fuel
Situation
- The first one will be 16 months when the second one comes up
- It will be 4 adults and 2 kids, me, my wife, my parents and 2 kids
- Uppababy stroller which support 2 seats and a couple of bags
- less km per year - 10k per year maybe
- Location - Ontario, Canada so winter is brutal (AWD becomes necessary at times)
Practical solution would be Minivan (Sienna Hybrid seems like the best option) but I feel Minivan will be very uncool, so searching for a 3 row SUV. But haven't completely given up on the minivan as they are practically the best vehicle for my situation, us kids and elderly parents and some trips.
Not many options, with regard to reliability, space and comfort. Considering 2023 Subaru Ascent, 2022 Toyota Sienna, 2023 Honda Pilot, 2023 Chevrolet Traverse, 2022 VW Atlas. I also want to be cost effective, new vehicles with insurance and fuel are crossing CAD 1600 per month and for only 1,000 km monthly driving it would be very expensive.
What do other people drive or suggest me. I have 3 months to buy, so the car has to be available.
Thanks in Advance
