This plant has thin wrinkly leaves and is shedding leaves too. Apparently that’s a sign of under watering.

When repotting it seemed rotted at the base of the stem. The rotten bit was removed, keeping some roots attached, and I moved it into a smaller pot with a ton of rooting powder. I’ve put the pot into a very bright window too. Have I done the right thing?
