KCL’s MA public policy? Thoughts?
Hi everyone,
I’ve recently been admitted to the MA in Public Policy at King’s College London, and I wanted to get a better sense of the program from current students or alumni.
I’d really appreciate any insights on things like:
- Overall quality of the program (teaching, structure, workload)
- How practical vs. theoretical it is
- Opportunities for internships, networking, or policy-related experience during the degree
- Career outcomes after graduation (what kinds of roles people typically go into, and where)
I’m particularly interested in social policy and governance, so if anyone has taken related modules or followed a similar path, I’d love to hear about your experience.
Also, how well does the degree position you for roles in international organizations, NGOs, or policy consulting?
Thanks so much in advance, any advice or honest feedback would really help!
