how many of you are hypersexual and aroace?

i've been struggling with hypersexuality for a long time now. i have difficulty differentiating between sexual attraction and hypersexuality and high libido and all of that. someone gave me an analogy on appetites (and i also vaguely remember one about cake), but i can't recite it verbatim because i don't remember lol. how do you personally know the difference? do you ever get them mixed up (and therefore have identity that correlates)?

here is a fast list of my interests:

- video games (warframe, nightreign, marvel rivals, minecraft, roblox)

- music (i write songs and sing but i also love new recommendations)

- art (i can draw but i am also vaguely into film making and photography)

- horror games (i'm actually a fucking wimp lol but i love getting scared)

- mental disorders lmao (i am also pretty fucking mentally ill so it checks out)

i'm also in college for pharmacy if that matters at all. lemme know if any of this intrigues you and send me a text. i'm currently going through an episode so i don't want to be alone right now

what are your experiences being aroace as you grow older?

i am someone who has identified with aroace for years (in addition to gay because i think i'm a-spec), but i feel like i no longer understand it. i don't know if that's because i've grown older, or if it just doesn't align with my identity anymore. i have gone by queer or gay in the meantime, but being aroace was an important aspect to my upbringing. it feels odd to say i'm not aroace anymore, even though i easily enter relationships and whatnot—although i'm aware that is not the criteria to be aroace.

idk. i'm confused. it's bothering me that i haven't come to a conclusion to my identity—although, again, it's perfectly fine to just be unlabeled. i enjoy the self-discovery part of being lgbtq though, so i'm going to continue to think about this.

what does it mean to be aroace to you? how do you still know? these are my questions if you don't mind answering.
