War Pigs "Breakfast Music" Some new Garage Punk from a couple kids from Laurel Canyon Doing some topical stuff. Songs like "Banned Books" ,"No Fascists " "Revolution Rockers" and even a fun version of Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots are Made for Walking " The singer/ guitarist ( Iggy) is in 7th grade

The Drummer (Lolo) is in 3rd grade. It's a lot more fun than I'm making it sound.They are on bandcamp I think as well . .worth a listen imo.

Just picked this up today. "Peter Gabriel:Live at WOMAD 1982".2 record set. Containing 7 unreleased ( at the time of the performance) songs from the album "Security" which was not out as of this show. 3 sides of the album are music, andside 4 is an etched vinyl art piece .

Conan The Barbarian Volume 2 : "Thrice Marked for Death" by Jim Zub and Doug Braithwaite.Cover by Roberto De La Torre collects issues 5-8 of the ongoing series.

"Tarzan in the Land of the Giant Apes"©1949, though credited to Edgar Rice Burroughs it was actually written by Robert P. Thompson. Caver and interior Illustrations by Jesse Marsh who went on to illustrate many issues of the Tarzan Comic Book for Dell

Better Little Book #1467. Art by Jesse Marsh.in his 1st published drawing of Tarzan. He would go on to draw him Many more times as the TR,an artist for Dell Comics.. this book was actually written by Robert P. Thompson.

Picked up the first trade collection of "Conan The Barbarian: Bound in Black Stone"©2024, by Jim Zub, Roberto De La Torre and Jose Villarrubia.

I found it highly entertaining great art staying fairly close to John Buscema's version but with great inks and colors that really add to the work. I also just started buying the Savage Sword of Conan magazines and am really enjoying them as well.
