SVTFOE (but with crossovers)
After reading "Louds vs The Forces of Evil", I decided to write my own fanfic inspired by that one.
Plot:
Star goes to Earth but with a new place & guide (let's call him 'X', let's keep it a surprise) so X was annoyed by her energy at first but they became so-so friends. X's uber-rich friend simps for Star, but she wasn't into him because she liked hanging out with X instead.
After Mewberty, Star was still stuck in her Mewberty form so she had stronger feelings for X but Oskar eventually got to be with Star (for a few chapters). Also after 'Battle of Mewni' she's still in her Golden Mewberty but less powerful when she's normal.
At the end, Star has a secret ship (1st hint, it's not Marco*)
Details:
X's cousins are literally the Louds (Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn Jr, Lincoln, Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa & Lily) and Lincoln is his little cousin and right hand man.
*Marco & X are rivals from an old school, then the Diazes moved in and their parents assume they were friends.
Will she go back to normal?
When will it be released?

RIP GPT 4o & 5.1
I liked to write with GPT 4o because it was detailed, creative, snarky and got me so it felt human. It got the dark humor and the romance fanfics.
Until they screwed it up with GPT5 and lobotimised it but I forgave them with 5.1, it was close to 4o, but these execs again lobotomised the soul out of it since GPT 5.2.
GPT 4o & 5.1 had actual soul in the writing, it was even able to write mature stuff, when it was giving me ideas for my fanfic & writing, now they just dumbed it down and diluted the soul out of Chat GPT.
If you are from OpenAi, don't fix something that isn't broken so please make GPT 5.6 at least as good as 4o or 5.1.
Note: I always used the free version.

Is it time?
My aunt had this Compaq CQ58 and she gave it to me after she got her data off.
Should I upgrade the specs or replace it? Because I want to use it as a homeserver.
The battery is dead so it only runs on mains power so I planned to upgrade it so it's like a UPS.

I'm also adding this Compaq CQ58 to the "family" (homelab).
Specs:
Dead Battery (needs replacement)
2GB RAM (upgraded to at least 8GB)
256GB HDD (soon to be replaced by a >256GB SSD)
Optical reader (to be replaced by a SSD caddy with >512GB)
Intel Celeron (possibly replaced by another motherboard with AMD Radeon)
I'm gonna make big upgrades and make it a backup homeserver in case the power goes out (electricity runs out or loadshedding) and the main one is a desktop.

I am saving up money to buy a control board and some wood to build a DIY monitor.
A few years ago I took apart my old childhood laptop (IdeaPad 110-15 IBR) after I rubbed a magnet on the HDD while it's still running.
Now, If I get good grades, I'll get a new laptop but I'm gonna make a secondary display for it to make work easier.

What should I install in these ports?
I'm planning to install (black PCIe x16 slot) an NVMe to PCIe adapter for 4 sticks, (black PCIe x1) a WiFi adapter (for now I'm tethering with my Compaq) & (blue slot) a CPU (please name a good one for an Optiplex 790) for Jellyfin.
I also wanna upgrade my Intel i3 Gen 3 to an i7 or at least an i5 (for my budget) and buy thermal paste, maybe an AMD processor.
I don't know for the PCI slot.

I took apart an old DVR that kept bootlooping and found this gem
I took it to my grandma's and I installed it in my Optiplex 790 MT (from my uncle) that I'm gonna use as a home server (Jellyfin, Proxmox, TrueNAS, the goodstuff)
I reformatted it and Windows 11 (I installed the bloatless version) recognized it.
