Quick update

Quick update

I wanted to share a quick update since a few people asked for more details on what I’m building and why I’m fundraising.

I’m expanding a community safety program that teaches life‑saving skills — CPR/AED, Stop the Bleed, Narcan awareness, emergency readiness, and practical safety training for families, workplaces, and underserved neighborhoods. This isn’t a “business venture” in the way some people assumed. It’s a public‑impact project that fills a gap most communities don’t even realize they have until it’s too late.

A lot of folks don’t know how expensive it is to bring this training into communities: equipment, certification materials, AED trainers, manikins, bleeding control kits, Narcan demo units, and the travel required to reach neighborhoods that don’t have access. Donations help me keep classes low‑cost or free, especially for families and organizations that can’t afford training but desperately need it.

I know Reddit can be skeptical, so let me be clear:I’m not asking for help to “start a business.” I’m asking for support to expand access to safety education so more people know what to do when seconds matter. If you’ve ever been in an emergency where you wished someone nearby knew how to help, you understand why this matters.

If you’d like to support or share, here’s my GoFundMe:

Trying to grow my community safety program

Hi everyone. I run a small startup community‑focused safety training program in South Florida called L&S Vital Training & Consulting. My goal is simple:

teach everyday people how to save lives.

I provide hands‑only CPR, Narcan/overdose response training, Stop the Bleed, and basic emergency readiness classes for families, youth groups, churches, and underserved communities. A lot of the people who need this training the most can’t afford it, so I’ve been offering free or low‑cost classes whenever possible.

Right now, I’m trying to grow the program, but I’m limited by equipment. CPR manikins, AED trainers, Narcan demo kits, and bleeding‑control supplies are expensive, and I’ve been covering everything out of pocket.

I created a GoFundMe to help with equipment costs so I can continue offering free community classes. Even $5 genuinely helps. Sharing the link also helps a lot.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I appreciate this community more than you know.
