Help with a Pixel 5a?
So I have a Pixel 5a that the screen just stopped working. I replaced the phone but still wanted to get my pictures and videos off.
I took it to a shop and they determined that the screen was fine but there was something with a broken connection on the mother board? He said there is a way to fix it but they haven't done the repair before and they weren't comfortable doing this for the first time at the risk of messing up the storage device.
They tried getting the data off but a setting in the phone wasn't on so they couldn't? I was told there was a shop they could send It to to retrive the data or fix it, I forget which. But the last phone they quoted for a similar job came to $400-$500.
Are there any other options or are these about to become the most expensive photos I have? I'm not super techy but I know a little bit.
