I just cannot get myself on board for him at #5.

I get it, freak athlete, high ceiling. Sure. Fine. But where the hell do we slot him into our defense?

We already have more edge rushers than we know what to do with so now we’re also going to stack up in the middle? We just invested in Edmunds, we have McFadden coming back who was damn solid before the injury - why devote a top 5 pick to a position where we aren’t desperately in need?

To me our two first round picks need to be some combination of Downs, Mauigoa, Ioane, Delane, McCoy, Tate, or Tyson. All these guys are stud prospects at positions we desperately need.

With all that being said, talk me into Sonny Styles so I can be happy no matter what.
