Relatively new, 2 50/70 bases, 5 behind the mound, 3 junior minor plate games. I have never had an issue w a coach over base calls but usally at the plate I hear it from both teams. I just try to stay in my slot, do 2 balls everyway for the younger guys but I’ve heard many complaints my zone is way too low. Is there a way to actively train this or does it come with time!

I’m 16, friends asked me to join there rec team in a fairly competitive league ex. High school varsity players and some more higher level guys. My team is undersized so I may be a 5’9 3 or 4. I haven’t played a lick of 5v5 sense I was 11, what do I do rn to not look horrible in a few weeks
