I'm a male college student in my early 20s who is about to finish up the spring 2026 semester. I live in Bel Air in Harford County, but I don't mind exploring further outwards. I'm planning on working, but I'm not going to be taking any summer courses. When I have free time over the summer, I get bored and I'd like to meet other people my age, but I don't know how. I struggle to find out how I can meet people in the area that are my age.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can try that's targeted towards young adult singles and how I can do those things? I've thought about doing coed sports as a potential thing to do. Does anyone have any experience or advice with that, or any other suggestions? Are there speed dating events? I also like to read. Are there any book clubs with people my age?

I'd like to date, or find ways to meet women my age, but I also want to make some friends in general, with guys and girls. Maybe there's some people my age reading this who are potentially interested in connecting.

With the spring 2026 semester coming to a close, summer is right around the corner. What will you be doing? Anyone taking summer courses? Who is going on a cool vacation that you'd like to share? Will you be working throughout the summer? What do you generally do over the summer?

If you live in Maryland, and you have free time over the summer to meet people and attend a lot of events, what do you do to meet people, and how do you find out about things to do?

I looked online, and if I understand correctly, guests have to be given tickets by students who are graduating, and they are given 5 tickets.

Is that the only way to be able to get a ticket to attend the ceremony? I'd like to surprise someone. Is there anyone who is graduating that has extra tickets to give away? I'll pay for a ticket at a reasonable price if that's what it takes.
