This took place last Christmas, I was at the table with my Mother, Father, Uncle, Aunt, Two of my grandmothers, one grandfather, my sister, and my brother. We were all eating, and my aunt asked us all to tell eachother a secret we have never told anybody before. I'm not going to explain the other family members' secret, but my mother said 'I wanted to put [my name] up for adoption when i had him', and i was really disheartened by it. Everybody else laughed, and she then said it was a joke, but i didn't find it at all funny. I didn't speak to her until March, she apologised and we are all on good terms again, but this keeps playing on my mind.
