Hi all, hoping to get some advice from the fitness community.

My dad and I signed up for a 20-session PT package with Anytime Fitness in Aug 2025. The plan was to split the sessions between us, so we expected to complete it in about 10 weeks.

However, things didn’t go as planned due to many issues with the branch and its PTs:

Our first PT (who was good) had to stop due to health reasons. There was a long gap before we were assigned a second PT; he wasn’t great, and eventually stopped showing arranging for sessions (we were later told he was fired). A third PT (the branch manager, who had apparently just renewed his PT certification) took over briefly, but he has since left as well.

It has now been ~8–9 months since we signed up, and regardless of the sessions used, it feels like the service we paid for (structured, consistent PT guidance) hasn’t really been deliverable in practice.

We did try asking about refunds, but were told it’s not possible due to contractual terms.

At this point, I’ve stepped back and let my dad take over the remaining sessions, but honestly it’s quite frustrating. He only recently got into fitness at age 65, and we were hoping this would help build consistency and confidence. Instead, the constant change in trainers and lack of continuity has been quite discouraging.

Just wanted to check: Has anyone faced similar issues with PT packages in SG gyms? Is there any recourse here (e.g. via AF itself or other channels)? Or are we basically bound by the contract regardless of service quality?

Appreciate any advice or shared experiences. Thanks in advance!
