Moving blankets vs Normal Blankets for Acoustic Treatment
I want to improve my recording quality on my space. I record in my bedroom which is not echo-y but I do have harsh reflections that I need to mitigate.
I currently create an improvised booth with some "normal" blankets around me to make a 1 x 1 meter square ( 3 x 3 foot ), but the low frequencies are amplified and since the blankets are not that thick, I still have some harsh reflections
Moving blankets are not available in my country but I could buy some from outside. DIY acoustic panels is not an option either due to lack of materials and I can't modify my bedroom that much.
Would changing my normal blankets for moving blankets improve the quality of my recordings ? I'm open to other recommendations as well. I can EQ the low frecuencies if they are not very present as well.
Thanks in advance!
