What's something that was completely normal in your household growing up that you later found out was actually really weird?
reddit.comWhat's something you did as a kid that you only realized was extremely dangerous years later?
reddit.comWhats a modern problem that sounds completely fake when you explain it to someone from 100 years ago?
reddit.comWhy does embarrassing stuff from 10 years ago still randomly hit your brain right before you fall asleep?
reddit.comWhat’s it really like living in Utqiaġvik or the far northern towns of Alaska?
I’ve always been fascinated by Alaska, especially the really remote northern towns like Utqiaġvik. Life there seems so different from almost anywhere else in the world, and I’m genuinely curious about what everyday living is actually like.
I recently read that Utqiaġvik is currently going through around 84 days of continuous daylight because of the Earth’s tilt, and that the next sunset won’t happen until August 2 at around 1:52 AM. That honestly blew my mind.
Would love to hear from people who live there now, used to live there, or have spent significant time in northern Alaska.
Random thought but I feel like some people out there have genuinely insane life stories that could easily become a Netflix series/documentary/movie.
Like something that happened to you or around you that sounds too crazy/emotional/funny/dark to be real.
Drop your story. I’m curious lol.
Strange how close Lady Olenna looks to Margaery when she was young just tells you about the absolute detailing and effort put in by the casting team. The best fucking show ever!
